Months ago when I just saw this game, I was so hyped for it, and then delay after delay, I lost my excitedness and say "I am not bothering anymore."

Just release it already!

This game, like its namesake, has been nothing but a haze. Just release the damn thing already before everybody lose interest amidst the flood of awesome games coming this year.

Doesn't look like it'll be anything special, a competent shooter maybe but it won't have the success of CoD4 or Halo 3.

Picking this one up day one.

If the game was rushed out then people wouldnt like it, but now they delay people say that they are losing interest. Free Radical just cant win can they?

Either way, Ive had this game on preorder since October and Ive no intentions of cancelling it. Free Radical have awesome fps credentials and Im sure that they will deliver a fantastic shooter for the PS3.

We create all the hype ourselves, we talk online about games, we search for every bit of info we can find, and we get disappointed when there are delays. I don't remember ever doing this for games on the PS2 or XBox or previous generations either. Now, developers are under so much pressure and the stakes are so much higher... take Assassins Creed for instance, great game, it could have been better... how much more time would have been needed to refine it? Would we rather have waited? At this point i think we all would say we would have waited a little longer, but when your actually waiting all you want is for it to come out and we can't help but be a little disappointed because we have built it up so high in our minds. This is in regards to all games, not just HAZE. The ps3 has a great line up coming out, anticipation is part of the fun...to a point. Its funny that i want this game to come out when i have 7 PS3 games i have yet to finish, and 3 i haven't even played for more than 2 hours.

i just think that this game is gonna suck. this game is the last of the sony launch announcements and if you look at the downloaded interview from the playstation store the guy who's talking looks and seems like a loser. now i know thats not how a game should be judged but look at him compared to naughty dogs and kojima and even the guys who are making bad company. they're all not just geeks but seem smart and know something about video games. one might argue that i shouldn't compare him with successful game developers before the game is even out but just look again. the guys behind the frostbite engine (and bad company) and the guys behind LBP even the ones behind warhawk all know how to present a game, a new independently developed game, to the public. i hope it turns out well but think it will more likely turn out like timeshift. but again i really hope it turns out well cause i could enjoy another shooter and i would love for another sweet game to crush xbox360.

Who cares about Haze? It's all about Resistance 2 w/ 60 MP.

It's Freeradical so expect revolution. I love FPS but I think gamers are not looking for unique and challenging games anymore. Prime example- the aforementioned TC:Rainbow Six Vegas. It's a great game, sure. It's great fun to clear room after hallway after room, but the weapons are all standard FPS weapons and the story lacks any significant morality or depth. Halo 3 suffers this too. Again, fun with mates online but it is devoid of anything new! I have higher standards than this.

Video Games are being dumbed-down. Halo 3 is great example of a good game that has been over-hyped by fanboys and is about as complex as a matchstick.

Remember the unique weapons in Resistance (Auger, Bullseye etc.)? That's what I expect in Haze. Originality. The Nectar thing, grabbing weapons, co-op vehicles, playing dead (ala Unreal) certainly suggests it will.

But the story is about a privitised military corp. who have brainwashed the military force, as well as the public by prescribing mind-alterin drugs. In today's f**ked up political climate (thanks America!), this game's story could be truly phenomenal.

The lousy thing is the release date. Loadsa games will overshadow it and it may be forgotten by people obsessed with over-hyped space gladiators or something...

Lair has the best soundtrack of a major game flop that I can remember. I still listen to it from time to time on Youtube.

I love the fact that at least someone remembers,
during the PS3 era how many bad games, and studios were shuttered during that era. you get nothing but rose-colored/ perfect hindsight about that now...

Haze broke me. I was such a massive fan of Timesplitters that I didn't believe for one second they could make such a generic, sub-par game. It even had a couple of neat ideas, but nothing that could save it from utter failure.

I learnt a harsh lesson from that game.
