Ian Fisher writes: To learn more about Republique I was able to get some insight from Ryan Payton, the founder of Camouflaj and the creator of Republique. In the interview Ryan discusses certain aspects of the game as well as his thoughts on Kickstarter and what it could mean for young studios such as Camouflaj.

Batman: Arkham Shadow developer Camouflaj has been hit with major layoffs, leaving behind a skeleton crew, according to multiple reports.
oh no, I had read that this studio was safe from the cutbacks Meta was making. These guys were supposedly working on the sequel to Arkham Shadow. I wonder if this kills that project or not.

Batman Arkham Shadow 2 is a no-brainer for Camouflaj as the Meta Quest 3 VR game is in a prime position for an awesome sequel.

Batman Arkham Shadows director Ryan Payton reveals that the team expected a negative reaction to the VR game's reveal.
The only crime about this game is the notion that it will get 0 nominations for the yearly award because VR games only exist if they are available on PC or PlayStation.
It's good this series will continue in one form. Imagine if rocksteady continued making single player Arkham games and we got a UE5 Batman Arkham game or a different Batman story all together.
I mean the fan base never stopped existing, WB just went on to make mediocre games set in the Batman universe rather than making what fans been asking since Arkham City. Which was more DC games of the same quality.
It’s real sad we didn’t get a proper 4th Arkham game with Kevin and Rocksteady. Now he’s gone and WB has left a sour taste in the mouths of their once loyal fans.
And your only reaction will be making another Batman game similar to Arkham, instesd of experimenting with other DC heroes ALA Green Arrow.
The one issue that I'd bot thought about was how much of an effect Suicide Squad KTJL would have had on a potential Superman and Justice League game. The fact that the game is set in metropolis alone means that it will be hard to get that game a green light.
