This is amazing i was looking to get Spiderman all 3 of them together and this price is a steal!

Just bought the Spiderman 3 Combo pack and now Fifth Element.

Ps. I was hoping the Combo'd Resident Evil all three of them together. T_T sadly would be nice to get half off on that too :D

TheTwelve6580d ago

Yep. At least we know that this isn't an act of desperation....

Agreed. I paid $60 for the set at Sam's. I still think that it was worth it, but this is even better. And the 3 disc set also includes Spiderman 2.1, which is the director's cut of that movie. I actually like that version of Spiderman 2 better than the theatrical version.

Rice6580d ago

Does anyone know if hairspray is on Blu ray.

ReBurn6580d ago

Yes. The Special Edition is on Blu-ray.

Rice6580d ago

do u kno if they have them in Canada.

ReBurn6580d ago

I'm not sure. Wouldn't the version in the US work, though?

Antiomo6579d ago

Just that blu-rays are charged at a premium up here.

Just go to amazon.com... worst case scenario is youll be paying the same exact price after shipping but NO tax.

PS3 got a bad rap because of the price. I bought it day one (I was very lucky). A Blu-ray player was more expensive than the PS3 at the time around 800$+

badz14914d ago

And that was for a standalone player with no internet connectivity. A network enable BD players like the PS3 was, were around $1000 at the time

Mr Logic14d ago

That's true, but it gets worse. I remember seeing independent analysis from CNET or something like that. They concluded that PS3 was not only the cheapest, but also had the best video quality of any BD player.

DivineHand12514d ago

Good to see there is an improvement despite the challenges plaguing this generation.

At the end of year 5, the ps3 received a pricecut making the 160GB model $250 and the 320G GB model $300.

I miss those days when there was not so much demand for microchips and the prices of things generally came down.

Now everything seems to be a smart device with very few companies to supply the needed chips.

Why compare to the PS3? The machine was a total abortion.

Comparing to 4 would be best being it’s the previous generation and was hugely successful.

NotoriousWhiz13d ago

There is a ps5 to ps4 comparison. The PS4 currently has a narrow lead.

Lulz_Boat13d ago

you are right, that's why it outsold 360

anast12d ago

Because it's being compared to everything...This is how this game writing goes...

gold_drake13d ago (Edited 13d ago )

we should also not forget what shitstorm the ps3 got cause of the price bk then

it was still a phenomenal console

Ninver13d ago

Western media did everything in their power to destroy the ps3. They shiited on its price and made fun of the CELL (I'm surprised there wasn't more dbz memes) calling it alien hardware. Still it gave us games like Uncharted 2 and TLOU.
