me said to see how dumb gamers can be buying that rehashed
crap when there are so many other great games that deserve

The numbers 1 and 2 spots for software show a lot. I think it shows a little more then hardware sales when you think about it. Why are most multiplatformed games selling disporportionately better on 360 then the ps3? And even though more exclusive games come out for the PS3 the ratio at which they sell compared to the 360s smaller amount is still bad. Why is that? Remember this is true with almost every single multiplat game. The 2 ffxiii games are some of the only exceptions.

I said it once and I will say it again vgchartz is not a reliable source for numbers, look at theier. Global numbers the 360 was at 65 mmil for the longest now they finally updated their numbers which do look closer to the real numbers. Did it really take that. Long to get there facts simi sttraight.

Looks like the overall ps3 and xbox 360 numbers were ajusted on the site. Wonder if it had anything to do with sony and miucrosoft saying their numbers as of march 31 2012.

Edward wtf are you talking about? Ww sales are more relevant than region sales for many reasons. You think an internationl corporation just uses one regions profits for their game resources or they only count one regions total lol hilarious. At the end of the year companies want to know how good a company is doing in total and if in total they are doing better than their competitor they are doing better point blank. They dont care where the profit is coming from they just want the most profits. The more profits the more resources for games.

If you are one of those ppl tht cares about sales, than youd be a retard to care just about one regions sales and you need to take a business class or something. Either way youd should care about the quality of games, not sales.

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

Great console, still use it

My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.

Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.

Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.
