"For years after purchasing my Xbox in 2009, I always envied those who had wireless internet in their homes AND had Xbox LIVE subscriptions. Finally, after years of jealousy (and missing out on a lot of fun, apparently), I got my Xbox LIVE Gold Membership. I made friends, ranked up in multiplayer, and got those pesky online achievements that had remained locked for months (and, in some cases, years). Sure, it was all roses, sunshine, and puppies at first. But as time transpired, I began to notice “little” things here and there that were happening."

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

DigitalNoob.com makes perfect sense now..
Who cares if theres are bad apples out of the millions of people playing online?
I always laugh out how people exaggerate the online experience like there are only kids playing and drama. If you have an idiot playing in that game simply leave the game or leave once that 5 to 10 minute match is up.
The truth is most are simply gamers of ALL ages who just want too enjoy the experience just like you. What I laugh at is people are still pretending this gen started yesterday. You can mute anybody you want in the biggest games.
I honestly think it's like going back in time if your not playing on Party Chat with your friends and the people you invite.
There isnty ONE multiplayer game I've ever played that wasnt 10 times better when a bunch of your friends or family etc. are playing with Party Chat (avoiding any of the silly nonsense that may occur).
I literally spent an entire day play ME3 online leveling characters and helping my friends level theirs through psarty chat. We NEVER cared about who else even tried to talk to us and it was literally one of the funnest online experiences I've had in a long time.
Its pretty hard to whine about people over the internet when you literally don't have to hear them if you don't want to.
Just my humble take on the subject.
Evil
I don't really mind anyone online, when I have my mic on, even playing with friends, I tend to get into the game and not even hear them. I just find it distracting, especially party chat. I only want to talk to you while in game if you have something useful to that game. Even then, can't be guaranteed I'll even be listening.
Nobody, I repeat, NOBODY talks shit like PC gamers.
I tend to avoid letting silly little things bother me when it comes to gaming. Otherwise, one would be a very bitter and very aggravated gamer. Someone's annoying you through voice chat? Mute them or vote to kick them from the match. Getting ganged up on or harassed? Leave the match, find another, and file a complaint against the wrong-doers.
If all else fails, you can completely avoid the problem by either not playing online or not going online with a game that's bound to have a slew of negativity.
