"They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and there’s no doubt that development studio Climax has been inspired by Sony’s God of War series for Bloodforge. It’s not just the gameplay that’s strikingly familiar; even the story is reminiscent of Kratos’ revenge against the gods. The star of Bloodforge is a hulky mountain of muscle that wears a skull, antler-helmed helmet of an animal and goes by the name Crom. He’s angry because he was tricked by the Celtic god Arawn. Arawn created an illusion causing Crom to mistake his family for enemies when his village was assaulted. Wanting vengeance for the death of his family, Crom sets out to smash all the gods that get in his way until his hunger for revenge is quenched, all while shouting and grunting mercilessly. That sounds quite familiar doesn’t it?"

It seems strange today that fifteen years ago a game could sell purely because it was gory. Games like Manhunt received free advertising because of their gore that only helped their sales but nowadays games are supposed to have more depth and complexity than simply covering the foreground with red all the time. As you might guess from the name, Bloodforge attempts to be unique by doing something hundreds of games have already done making every single enemy in the game explode in a bloody mess whenever they’re killed.
Wasnt that War Z game out in 2012? I would say that it had to make the list of worst games..
Definitely Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is the worst game of 2012. It got a 38 on metacritic and sold only a measly 60k copies. It doesn't get any worse than that.

gamrReview: "A week or so ago we presented our picks for the best games of the year so far (click here if you missed it). Now it's time to name and shame the worst games of the year so far. In what is very much a case of the triumph of hope over experience, we have our fingers crossed that the list remains relatively unchanged come the end of the year."
what happened to resident evil operation racoon city why didnt it get metioned on there as well
Revelations 2012 isn't on this list... It's byfar the WORST game of the year, maybe even in the history of gaming by some points of view.
