I played it a little years ago. It was fun but I had children after I started playing and gave it up so my wife wouldn’t hate me. I got to 50 and then hung it up
Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha

This game feels fundamentally different than its predecessor. Not that it *needed* to, because the first Guild Wars was wonderful in its own ways, but Lordy Lordy is this sequel truly a successor in every way, improving upon just about everything in every area and realm of gameplay, world quality and story telling.
Been enjoying the hell out of the pvp on my Thief. PvE is still pretty much the same thing in every other mmo just has the illusion of not being "standard questing"... Definitely will be on PvP for awhile though when released. The combat is amazingly enjoyable to me so far.
Been enjoying to a certain degree. I really hope things change when it goes retail and everyone does more damage at 80. Right now WvWvW is silly. Nothing but back n forth zergs, ie tuarnmill days.
Really hope they implement an Australian server. I refuse to play pvp with a huge disadvantage.
finally the mmo formulas changes...its not some boring grindfest like wow and swtor. gw2 is the true game changer and an amazing game. suck it EA, and your failure that was swtor.
