The long rumored Playstation-exclusive 2d party fighter, Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale has been officially announced. As a longtime Playstation user, it sort of puts a bad taste in my mouth as it seems to be just another example of Sony grasping at coattails long after the buzz of what they are copying has worn off. The main issue I see with Sony copying the Smash Brothers formula is the availability of exclusive or iconic Playstation characters. The most recent iteration of Smash Bros had something like 35 playable characters, most of which are exclusive to Nintendo. I would love to be wrong about PASBR, but in order to offer an interesting choice of playable characters, developers may need to pull from multi-platform titles.

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.
It was worth playing for me when I saw Kratos, Sly Cooper, and Sweet Tooth
Nice list.
I'd like to see Nariko, Mantel Trooper, and the fire dragon from Lair.
Don't like most of that list.
Don't care about random Elder Scrolls characters or Vault Boy and not a fan of Raiden from MGS.
I want to see some Disney characters, bring in Buzz or Woody or even Donald, Mickey or Goofy (Kingdom Hearts)
I want to see Vivi Ornitier in the game.
I hope they include solid snake
