IGN: It's a rare event when a game in development actually has its release date moved up the calendar, but Capcom's now positioned Resident Evil 6 to debut in less than six months. That gives us only half a year to accomplish a little project we've dreamed up -- replaying all the past RE games. First up, Resident Evil Zero.

GOG writes: "Resident Evil HD Remaster and Resident Evil 0 are now available fully DRM-free on our platform and are also joining the GOG Preservation Program!
We’re thrilled to continue this journey with Capcom and expand the Program with two survival horror icons. Thank you, Capcom, for believing in video game preservation, and to all the passionate people within the company who have dedicated a significant amount of their energy to making these releases possible."

Capcom is currently working on a remake as well as a film adaptation of its survival horror game, Resident Evil Zero, based on a new rumor.
Another movie? Sigh
So they can pretend they are sticking to the source material and keep telling us how much they are big fans of the games only to get a subpar film which is a terrible adaptation
i just hope that its abit more interesting than the og. i liked it, but the tank controls and the menu etc just ..
ugh, it didnt play very well imo.

The Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code Veronica remakes will reportedly not be as "ambitious" as Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Understandable to me. RE4 is one of their most important title's compared to these. People like to complain about anything. Be happy RE4 turned out as good as it did…
Interesting. I would imagine it actually requires a lot more of work in terms of rewriting the story.
While I hated how they destroyed Nemesis in the RE3 remake, CV could really benefit from a major story overhaul. From the super corny opening action pumped sequence of Claire running from bullets to Jar Jar Binks level of writing of Steve character.
It's either like RE2 remake or they are keeping the static camera and redoing it in RE engine.
I think it will be like RE 2 remake and the not ambitious part is not making big set pieces or making it open with side quests like RE4 and Village.
I think I really liked this game. I should replay it sometime. I remember the crashed train but most of it was foggy it's been so long.
great game, RE:make and RE: code veronica are great too! :) also RE2 and RE3 :) the real survival horror games
Such an awesome game
what happened to capcom really?
I really liked this game, and I put this as one of my favorite games on the GameCube.
This game was basically built just for co-op, with the feature to switch between the two characters at will. All they needed to do was add in support for a second controller, have it go into split-screen when you're not together, and it would have made the game even better than it already was.
If you ask me, we need Resident Evil games to be done in this style again, but stupid Capcom really does not give a shit about anything other than money anymore. *sighs*
I actually replayed RE:Make the other day on my good old launch GC and it really does make a mockery of the current RE games.
Although I prefer over the shoulder gameplay to the original, RE:Make is actually scary and requires you to think about ammo conservation etc. RE5 is like the total opposite. The best thing about it was LIN which I've played about a billion times.
