Xbigy Games Writes: I'm quite a big fan of the survival-horror genre. So when I heard the 'news' that Dead Space 3 was coming I was pretty excited, but also slightly weary. I loved the first game in the series, it was actually scary and when I was playing it I got a sense of the chills that no other game had given me for a good while. With Dead Space 2 that changed, while enemies such as the Twitcher created scares, the game just did not have the same sense of atmosphere as its predecessor. The game was great, don't get me wrong, but it tried to tick too many boxes, constantly creating 'blockbuster' moments instead of concentrating on what should be at the heart of a Dead Space game - horror. So here is our list of things that should be done for EA's latest outing with Isaac.

If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.

WTMG's Kyle Nicol:
"Was Dead Space 3 really that bad?
Well, it’s a complicated question. Dead Space 3 is undeniably the weakest of the trilogy. It’s a game that deviates so far from the original formula, that it throws a lot of what made Dead Space special in the first place out of the window. Although, where it does make up for it is one of the best cooperative shooters on the market, even after all this time. Do I recommend playing this game ten years later? Hell yes. But make sure your expectations are in the right place. It has a lot of problems that bring it down."

With the upcoming Dead Space Remake, we replay and rank the original three games.

...Lost Planet 3?
They need to seriously continue this ip with a new entry. Even if it's just another movie I don't care I love everything about this game.
make it more like dead space 1, dead space 2 was too action orientated.
One of my favorite game series of all time. I still play DS1 when I need a good organic shock to my heart ;)
Not release the games actual ending in an extended cut DLC 4 months after its release date.
I still find it funny looking back on DS2 the only times i ever got the clammy hands scared to explore fealing was when i went back on the isimura.
wow, well i thought BOTH games were entertaining/fun/creepy/fright ening. I love the series and the lore that goes along with it. I know the third is just going to improve on that already-proven, stellar formula.
