Following the success of several Kickstarter funded projects, New Zealand developer Sidhe has made public various assets and media for a hitherto unnanounced game with the working title "Project Space". Wynands told MCV: "For something that was essentially thrown out there on a whim, there has been a surprisingly strong and positive response. Enough for us to seriously consider what we might do with the title and whether or not to launch a Kickstarter campaign.

Digitally Downloaded writes: "Sidhe is the most veteran, most prominent, and arguably most important game developer that New Zealand has ever seen. It's one of the very few developers from the country that regularly hits "highest revenue" ranking lists (for instance, the Develop 100), thanks to its stewardship over some very valuable franchises, such as the Rugby Union football games."

Space Game Junkie's Brian Rubin writes, "A little while back, I discovered a prototype game called “Project Space” that looked to be a mix of Freelancer and Elite, at least according to that awesome YouTube video anyway. I therefore took it upon myself to contact the folks at the company behind it, Sidhe, to find out more about this sadly canceled game that might again see the light of day if there’s enough interest. Managing Director Mario Wynands got back to me, and was open to doing a Q&A."
Sidhe, a development studio from New Zealand, has released a demo of one of their latest titles "Project Space", though due to a lack of funding, we might never see this game be released.
A lot of smaller companies never get to see there games published and gamers miss out on some really good games
