Apple owns no game studios and Valve puts out a game every 2/3 years. Not exactly a match made in heaven, not to mention that Apple charges like twice the amount their products are worth and then releases a new version six months later.

I think that would fail about as bad as the Pippin failed in the 1990's.

Sega partially failed because they kept coming out for add on's and ended up losing consumer confidence. Just don't see how this would work.

I'm sure it's all b.s. but if it were true I'd ditch Sony and microsoft for milking there current consoles with junk to prolong there consoles outdated life.

it wouldnt be a console, but I can see apple and valve doing something together. Maybe apple wants some ios games from valve. I dont think anybody in their right mind wants to make a new console unless they are already in the market.

If that means that Half Life 3 will be exclusive to his console then f@ck both of those companies.

Never gonna happen, Valve are all about completely open systems for PC software. Not something Apple are famous for.

Edit: Although, with Steve Jobs no longer giving the go, no go decisions, things may change.

Gamers from every corner of the globe have called kinect a boat load of names or highlighted it' lacking or how it does not work well. But yet a rumor sprouts of a joint venture between Apple & Steam to create a kinect like console device, everyone has nothing but high praises for it or how they want one. Begin to think all gamers are nothing more than a bunch of two face fanboys, could never understand how people can hate something but let that same item be made by someelse they all like it then.

Apple and Nintendo would make more sense since a majority of households with Apple products also have Nintendo products.
