Chris Buffa (Modojo): This has to be the feel good story of the year, at least when it comes to video games. Two weeks ago, Shadowrun creator Jordan Weisman made a passionate plea to the community via Kickstarter to help him create a new entry in the award-winning franchise called Shadowrun Returns. He just needed $400,000 to make his dream a reality.

Paul writes: "Shadowrun Returns on Xbox is a solid tactical RPG with a good story; one which you will certainly enjoy."

Starting today, Hitman and Shadowrun Collection are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until September 3 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they’re yours to keep.
Shadow run collection is excellent. When you redeem it unlocks 3 separate titles in your library. Epic is on a roll

Shadowrun Returns is almost seven years old and has spawned numerous spin-offs. But is the original worth a revisit? Jump Dash Roll revisits its backlog in typically brutal style in today's review.
What I don't get is, where was all this support for the original Shadowrun?
I'm happy that classic rpgs are coming back in this era
This is the one I'm most anticipating, followed closely by Wasteland 2. Also donated to The Banner Saga.
Shadowrun SNES is one of my all time favorites. I played through it again just a few days before this was announced, so I was particularly elated.
I remember it being released, but I never played it. Not really into multiplayer games, specifically multiplayer shooters.
I was definitely bummed that the license wasn't being used for sweet action RPGs in the vein of Deus Ex or Mass Effect. Hopefully this revives the franchise for a long time.
I would like a new shadowrun game alot, but don't own a pc and not getting a ipad, but if they put it on live or psn, i would probably get it.
