Can't wait till they make all DLC download only. No hard drive 360's, 4GB 360's and 20GB PS3's will complaint that Capcom used up to much space on their drives.

I'm glad Capcom is getting some negative repercussions from their actions. Still, it's hard to take the author seriously when he brings up his disagreement with IGN and Pachter and their "entitled gamer" opinions. Especially since all the quotes he has from Pachter focus on reactions to EA, and not Capcom.

A lot of us are unhappy with what they said about entitlement, but don't try to spread misinformation like this, it makes all of us look bad.

Soon there will be "DLC Guidelines" that all gaming companies will have to follow. Hopefully, before the next generation of gaming starts, we can set everything right for the consumers.

Might be asking for a bit too much but please the gaming gods that be, let this effect Capcom's stock and cost them money.

What they have done is bad business ethics and they deserve all the bad publicity they can get.

Surely they have to clearly STATE on the box that a game is incomplete. At least you get a proper endin in Mass Effect 3. Microsoft and Sony should be on top of them for this, except it sounds like Finy have a hand in it buying content to be locked. Capcom should be investigated for breaches by all parties as their software has been released incomplete and patches are essentially being bought as DLC. The sooner southpark do a parody on these C#!TS the better. Shame Capcom, shame!

The only capcom games I own are SSF4, SSF4AE and MVC3. I was really disappointed with MVC3, and reluctantly paid for AE.

Outside of SSF4 they haven't made anything I'd consider decent for consoles this gen. I think we should all move along... Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda make the over-the-top Japanese games of yesteryear.

All Capcom have given us this gen is a load of mediocrity. Their greedy practices just make it worse.

there should be like a new label, on the game boxes, like 'FAIR DLC USE ', where studios would only make new DLC content, for extending the game, with fair prices.

as long as there isn't a single law protecting gamers, it will be worse, each month.

if gaming was a hobby mainly for 40-60 yo men, never would a customer accept this kind of practices, and soon there would be many laws protecting them. unfortunately, gaming is for, mainly, 7-40 yo people, that will have no other choices but being fffffffff-ed deeply, by these companies.

this capcom story is a sad but good lesson for us,gamers. from now on, I will carefully read all the reviews, and will prefer a good single player game, over one with multiplayer features, because I don't want to have a game with stupid passes, that will prevent me from playing my game, say, in 10 years.

when I grab my God of war 3 box, and can say 'I can play 100% of this game, even in 20 years, without internet, everything is in the box ', I feel really proud, and make me wanna to kiss all the Santa Monica guys, and say a big thanks.

Capcom won't take notice until their shares start to drop. It's nice that the people are pooling together to file complaints, but nothing will change unless the people stop paying for their games and DLC.

Just like all the endless bashing on Call Of Duty/Activision/Bobby Kotick, the people will continue to be sheep and pay.

Yeah their practices are terrible but what upsets me more are their games. Beside their fighters, all of them were disappointing in the past few years.

DEad Rising 1 and 2 were a mess with the timer.
Lost planet 2 was terrible.
Resident Evil 5 was a great dissapointment.
Asura's Wrath didn't fare well with critics.
Operation Racoon city was a disaster !
Dark Void and Bionic Commando were average at best.
DMC 4 was basically half a game, the second half was all backtracking !
Their HD collections have no effort put into them !

And now they bastardized DMC and outsourced lost planet to one of the crappiest devs of all time. Dragon Dogma better be good to make up for all their failures !

That is insane, who ever made that decision must really hate video games or must think everyone are suckers. I truly hope no one bought that.

I hope Cacpom finally starts to get the message, although I doubt they will. They've been steadily going down hill for a while now. Not only with the money grabbing, but with the way they just keep getting western devs to make sequels to their games and they're almost always garbage.

Japanese devs just don't seem to realise that western gamers do like Japanese games, that's why they got so big in the first place. Stop trying to make western games, stick to what you're good at.

They need to start by watching this Amazon Prime, Secret Level Video and get some pointers. These guys who made it obviously cared about the franchise with a great concept for a show pilot or video game.
