Brandon Coppernoll pitches his ideas for an updated version of one his favorite NES horror games.

A new Friday the 13th game is confirmed to be in development under a larger studio, as the Jason Universe plans long-term expansion across film, games, and media.
"The first phase included collaborations with major brands such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, Youtooz, and Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights."
Yeah...It won't last.
There are rumors of a SP one but ...
sure sure... give us another game that will last a couple of years then become unplayable
Well they start by actually giving an actual single player game, instead of another multiplayer crap that will be phased out in a few years.

Vincent Disanti, creator of the Never Hike Alone fan films, confirms that a new Friday the 13th video game is in early development with a larger studio, though Gun and Illfonic are not involved.
I wonder if it will only be a multiplayer live action game just like the last game? Will it have a single player?
What's the point? If the license expires as fast as the other F13th games it's gone be gone in a year lol....
Needs to be a single player game. If it's multiplayer like the last one, it'll be shut down again after a year or so.

Just in time for Halloween, all manner of horror descends onto PS Now today. Fight for your life in the post-apocalyptic open world frontier of Days Gone. Embody the undead hero of Sir Dan Fortesque as you fight to bring peace back to your village. Outwit one of cinema’s most iconic boogeymen in multiplayer Friday the 13th. Buddy up for some medieval puzzle platforming work in Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and tackle Double Fine Productions’ own brand of roguelike in the wastelands of Rad.
I knew they would have to add Medievil for October on either Ps plus or Ps Now ! Glad i waited.
I bought medieval earlier this year when it was on sale for 20. And after the game being out for 20 years I finally beat it and I loved it.
I’ve learned that not all games are meant to be beat right away. But, it’s always nice to have options.
Oh I remember this game. It was probably the scariest game on any Nintendo system and it's ancient. The outside world was creepy, the First Person was horrifying and when you ran into Jason.....AHHHHHH *runs and hides just thinking about it*
a remake would be just like the nes a never win . why you may ask, well let me tell you. you will never win because Jason never dies in none of his movies where Jason is played by Jason and not a paramedic in a hockey mask will Jason die and therefor you can never win. a game like this could only be measured like a nuclear bomb strike on a country, its not a win or lose but how many die and how many survive. i think it would be great to have a remake if done correctly and with the idea in mind that you could never really win but to survive.
