A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

Co-op was one of the few things RE fans asked you to not do in RE6 and yet they still did it
Oh and I see they are sticking to the Chapter select based gameplay.....guessing there won't be a merchent then throughout the game and we have to buy/sell weapons when we die or when we finish the chapter.
Mercenary mode better have a no time limit mode, all I want is to see how long I can last without breaking those stupid clocks.

I hope I don't have to babysit the AI again like I did with resident evil 5. Hopefully when you are not playing online the second player is like the companions in uncharted (don't die, get in your way don't have to share ammo and guns). I hated it in resident evil 5 when sheva wasted ammo.
Damn, i wanted another resident evil 4 adventure. where the story had such brilliant pacing in relation to the gameplay that i must have played it over 30 times from start to finish.
Re5 was bollocks for me since it jumps from one scene to another like in cod and there was no merchant or sense of survival and urgency. This series is catering more and more to the mainstream casual gamers as they release every Resident evil. :(
