Welcome to the obscure, strange and dark world of Catherine. Developed by the Atlus Persona Team and published by Atlus and Deep Silver, Catherine is a rather unique puzzle-platformer, survival horror adventure.
Catherine follows the story of Vincent Brooks. Vincent is an all around nice guy, who spends his days working in the world of technology and his nights getting completely wasted with his friends at a local bar. Apart from Vincent’s work and social habits, he also has a long-time girlfriend named Katherine. Katherine is pushing Vincent towards the realm of commitment, marriage and everything else that most men tend to fear. Plagued by these commitments, Vincent doesn’t realise that the horror of commitment is not the only horror he should be worrying about.
Plenty of unforgettable games have completely messed up their players throughout the years, all the way back from the PS1 days to the dark recesses of the modern internet.

Deadly Premonition is a pretty weird game, but all of these absolute oddities are even weirder.

Paul writes: "Games can be many different things to different people. The subject of this Looking Back article is something a little different however, as it deals with infidelity and the fallout that comes the way of the straying main character. Intrigued? Well, come with me to the weird world of 2011’s Catherine!"
