Leviathyn.com | So far this year Final Fantasy XIII 2 has been lambasted for its “to be continued” ending which many saw as inconclusive and abrupt. Then the internet went slightly madder than usual over Mass Effect 3’s ending. That debacle has seen $80,000 and 402 cupcakes donated to charity as the vast majority of gamers urged Bioware to change pretty much everything that happened during the entire last hour of the game.

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Members of the original development team behind Rockstar Games' LA Noire are working on a new psychological thriller called Sowden House.
Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.
It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

BLG writes, "Do you ever get that feeling after you’ve finished a game that you just wish there was more? Or do you spend years hoping and praying for a sequel that never comes?
This list compiles some of the top games we desperately want to get a sequel. Please give us more of our favorite games!"
Would love to see a sequel to the 7th gen FPS campaign SINGULARITY from RAVEN Software..
L.A. Noire was meant as a throwback to your old school noir movies. So really you can't complain over something as asinine as changing characters towards the end. It was a story driven game. It did what was best for it's story. As far as the flamethrower complaint goes. The guy in the article himself said it had a good reason for being there but says it shouldn't have been there without ever really going into detail as to why that is. In short he says the ending is bad because it's bad. People shouldn't write articles if their opinions are always going to be, "it's bad because it's bad". I mean even his complaints against games ending, instead of letting you continue on is pretty stupid. What does that have to do with actual endings? Article is bad and the writer should feel bad.
I completely disagree with RDR. That was an awesome ending!
Okay, so if you were to write a story and knew exactly how to end it (how YOU wanted to end it), yet some fans opposed you, you'd be perfectly fine changing the ending YOU wanted? I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. You can no longer call it art the moment you take away creative control. It's no longer yours, it's the fans. It's NOT an artistic expression of YOUR thoughts and ideas... it's someone else's. You basically want to turn what should be on the level of books, movies, and music into a business rather than an art form. That's not why I got into gaming.
Only one I can remotely agree with is Batman: Arkham Asylum. The points about Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire are astoundingly bad. Change the ending of RDR because Jack's voice was annoying? Um, yeah. That was one of the most heart wrenching endings in the history of gaming. He has a cracky voice because he's a kid. Way to miss the point. The switching of characters in LA Noire... I mean... they were setting up a sequel... and it made sense.
Bad list.
