Time can't run out fast enough for the man that took Ghost Recon, a semi tactical shooter and turned it into GRAW an arcade adventure.

My brother worked for Ubisoft at the time Allen was at RSE, which is owned by Ubi. RSE pitched the idea to Ubi and they bought off on it. Let me say that again, RSE pitched Ghost Recon Arcade Warfighter to their owners Ubisoft. Allen had been steadily working in arcade elements since GR2 and GR2SS - beginning with 3rd person view. As Allens influence grew, GR went downhill.

GRAW was very importent to Ubi, who is at fault for buying off on the project but RSE came up with it. Ghost Recon 2 for the PC was cancelled because Ubi did not want a GR project and GRAW releasing in the same year. This eventually didn't matter because RSE asked to push GRAW out to the following year and RSE agreed but GR2 PC was already dead.

Allen was the GRAW series Lead and the majority of the arcade elements are his and now he wants to be "the tactical guy". No. There are plenty of other guys out there making games that have shown time and again they are dedicated to the tactical crowd.

This is a shame... really hope this can pick up some steam and come to fruition! We need a game like this on the market.

We can make this happen! I miss shooters like this. If it's not your cup of tea then there are plenty of other options. But if it is then this is your chance! Don't let the oppertunity slip by. IMO it's too importaint for our genre. If this game gets made it will send a cannon shot across the bow of the industry. We are gamers, we want this.

Hudge fan of Rainbow Six Raven Shield and Swat 4, i want this game !
