GamerFitNation: With the recent release of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, fans of the long running survival horror genre had high expectations. The idea of blending a cover based, team based 3rd person shooter with the already established franchise sounded good on paper. Unfortunately, like so many ideas before it, ORC failed to deliver the goods and received harsh reviews from critics. I won’t go into much detail on the ‘how’s’ and ‘why’s’ of what exactly went wrong, but rather I would like to share with you my thoughts on the brighter side of this topic.
Alanah Pearce, who was a writer at Sony Santa Monica for several years and worked on God of War Ragnarök, has shed more light on the sex minigames which cropped up in the series' earlier entries.
Other than looking like that, why does anyone care about what she has to say about anything?

Remakes of the campaigns featured in Xbox Game Studios' Halo 2 and Halo 3 are currently in development, according to a new rumor.
That's Microsoft's gaming division for you...kill off developers making new ip while trying to capitalize off some long lost glory that has no hope of ever being what it once was thanks to recent decision making favoring unrealistic profit goals and greed. What a joke.
So what’s their solution to having multiplayer? Wait until Halo 7?
That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..
Why not just port the MCC? 🤔 That was the easiest layup ever and you completely missed it
I wonder if Microsoft will port Reach over to Playstation I quite enjoyed that game. I played Halo 3 and it was not bad I have Halo 2 on the OG Xbox I just need some cables to hook up to my tv to play it.
The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s most interesting home console ever, but what’s most interesting of all is trying to nail down the very best games on a console with hundreds of incredible games. Let’s give it a shot.
Sly Thieves in Time
Stay the Party
Portal 2
Dj Hero
Demon’s Souls
God of war Ascension
I've noticed a recent nostalgia for the PS3 and I don't get it for me it's been my least favourite generation to date and I've been gaming since the NES I just feel like the ambition of the developers outweighed the capabilities of the consoles so I remember lots of games running in the lower end of 20fps range and I remember for the first time ever actually disliking the duelshock 3 and it's curved triggers
Sure there were some standouts and great games but that's the only gen I switched entirely to PC gaming
While reviews may be solid for all of those franchises, on a case by case basis, I do think they disappoint SOME gamers.
There's no such thing as a franchise that doesn't disappoint SOMEONE. BECAUSE it is s franchise, there will be one game that people don't like. If it were a single, standalone title, that might be different. But as far as franchises go, you'll always find one person who dislikes one of the games.
