"The game will definitely be released with the launch of the [Wii U] console", says art director Han Rhandawa in an interview with german magazine Gameswelt.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.

The release date has been revealed for The Art of Darksiders II Hardcover Edition.
I wish they would give Wii-U owners a bonus by adding the first game so that players could follow the whole storyline instead of being thrown into part 2 with no understanding of the 1st. That would really make it worth waiting for, for Wii-U.
