They'll update with a Q2 2008 ;3

I'm loaning my PS3 to my brother-in-law to play for a few months until more games are released. In the meantime I'm building a PC and i'll be playing The Witcher and Everquest 2.

it took this long for this news to reach here, ive seen this for weeks, i just hope its true, i already got my money saved up for it.

befor burnout i may get it but if it dont ill probly never play it.

This is certainly odd. I don't go to the Playstation site, but I saw it today and saw the giant HAZE banner.

Very weird, it's certainly plausible, but if it's true, Sony needs to pick up the advertising. If Free Radical is making this game exclusively for PS3, it's a gift, and Sony should show third parties they're willing to push third party games. If it flops because of Sony's inability to act, I doubt third parties will care to ever offer a exclusivity to Sony's platform.

They fixed it. It says March 2008 now.

uhhh, okay that's cool and all but if you search for "Haze" on the same site, it comes up saying Release: Mar 2008.

people should stop posting the rumor crap. you get peoples hopes up just so they can be let down again.

I would recommend you take some of the information on the official playstation site with a pinch of salt. If you go to the UK site and the Haze page, it still says the release date of November 2007!

So the fact that pretty much everywhere has a different date tells me that no one knows when it's coming out, which would suggest it's not soon.

considering that Haze was originally supposed to come out in, like November of *LAST year, it wouldn't surprise me if it came out January 15.

after all, most games are delayed because of things like bugs.

chances are, Haze was in the bug-testing phase, they found a few game-breaker bugs (i was in game-testing for three years, and Sony has a pretty harsh Technical Requirements, though stuff does get through), and it probably failed it's TRC, and got delayed until they fixed it.

they've probably ironed out the kinks, and are going through final testing, or the game has gone gold, and is being manufactured for a January 15th release.

i certainly wouldn't mind, as it'd be a nice game (granted an FPS, which i'm growing quite tired of), to tide me over until DMC4 hits in early February.

I doubt it but hopefully is true.

Only time will tell, but sometimes I wish a release date was no given to much disappointment when it does not come out or pushed back a few months

I'm glad it's been delayed slightly. I find it hard to find time to play games, and right now I'm finishing up COD4 (before that R&C and Uncharted). I have UTIII and Orange Box sitting next to my PS3 unplayed, because of no time. That is a lot of shooters, and if this game is decent being released in March gives me a short break from shooters.

Doesn't help my gf got a Wii and recently bought a 360, so now I gotta rent all those games as well.

I don`t remember the game going gold, although i see a few websites slating this on the 15th Still. I seriously doubt it will make the deadline.

Well, I can pretty much say that the March release date is now true.

Haze has been pushed back from January and the Jan 15th date has been removed from the Official Playstation site along with the large advertisement on the page.

The delays really wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that we haven't heard anything regarding HAZE since TGS07. It's like Ubi pushed it off the face of the Earth or something.

Just about every website says it's a January release so we can only hope it's true.

I need a little time to finish up R&C and Uncharted. Not to mention START orange box and UTIII while still enjoying COD4 muliplayer action and the occassional Warhawk game. Also thinking of picking up Assassin's Creed. So many games, so little time.

Lair has the best soundtrack of a major game flop that I can remember. I still listen to it from time to time on Youtube.

I love the fact that at least someone remembers,
during the PS3 era how many bad games, and studios were shuttered during that era. you get nothing but rose-colored/ perfect hindsight about that now...

Haze broke me. I was such a massive fan of Timesplitters that I didn't believe for one second they could make such a generic, sub-par game. It even had a couple of neat ideas, but nothing that could save it from utter failure.

I learnt a harsh lesson from that game.
