
Mega Man X for the iPhone is a bit of a relief, a lovingly re-made version of the SNES classic. Though it suffers from many of the same control stumbles we've come to expect of any iPhone game with more than a single button, it's definitely encouraging to see a real video game on our mobile device, and to know that Capcom hasn't given up on Mega Man completely.

Hey Poor Player's Kenny McKee writes- "With the release of the Super Nintendo (or, in Japan, the Super Famicom) came new opportunities for game developers. It was a chance to create new things, and test the limits of what could be done. While many companies focused on overhauling aspects such as mechanics, graphics, and sound, Capcom took things even further and decided to do an overhaul on their very own mascot character. In December of 1993, Mega Man X was born."
