To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

Fot all its worth, 70,000 the psv is behind the DS and its still selling at a full retail so sony are making a healthy profit on each one. Should pick up even more when more games start coming.
Ps3 is staying consistant as is the ps3. The Ds & Psp are starting to wain now but that is expected after a long time in the industry.

I really do not get the PS3 elitism. I owned one, and the games the fnboys brag on aren't even the best games it has to offer.
I facepalm every time I hear a PS3 owner say they don't like MGS4, Folklore, Ratchet Future Perfect, LBP, Rune Factory, or Tales of Graces, yet they proclaim it's awesomeness and beat their chests.
at least Xbox fans have played their good games, I dare you to find an Xbox fanboy who hates both Halo and Gears. And we all know Nintendo fanboys swear by their big names.
PS2 will go down as one of the greatest consoles ever. FACT! But lets be real, PS3 did not win this gen sales or game wise. That doesn't make it any less awesome, and if you like it you like it. Just stop acting like anyone who doesn't like it is either a Rookie/Casual gamer or and idiot.
