"Markus Persson creator of Minecraft and BAFTA Video Game Awards winner has just been interviewed on the TV with BBC NEWS.
Markus was asked about his opinions on why war games are so popular, he mentioned that its much like how we enjoy action films because its more intense. He was also asked why Minecraft is so popular and he replied that most games you just play through the story however with Minecraft you can build your own world to play through yet the element of danger is still there because of the monsters."

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

Ben Porter from Newzoo explains that the player base has very little overlap with mainstream hits such as Assassin's Creed: Shadows and Ghost of Yōtei
I used to buy cheap games thinking I’d play them later, but I always ended up returning to my favorites. Now I skip the deals unless I know I’ll play the game soon.
This is very true, my nephews grew up on these two games and whenever I introduce them a AAA game whether old or new, it's like seeing an alien try to make sense of it and then quickly lose interest in it.
Can’t really expect a 8 year old Roblox kid to go buy resident evil 9 lol

I was thinking about space when the new update came, and they increased the height limit... Was like, man... This is getting close to space it's so high up! Though space in Minecraft would be insane and inconceivably crazy in too many ways to be real.
thatd be sick. imagine making your own spacecraft and launching into space? lol
OMG... I wonder if we'll ever be able to go to the moon in Minecraft :D
Me: "When I grow up, I wanna go to the moon!"
Mojang: "Why Wait?!" *creates a Minecraft moon update*
Me: YAY! :D
Mojang: You're welcome..... *kicks Charlie up to the real moon*
*facepalm*
Notch isn't even developing Minecraft anymore. He handed it over to Jens a long time ago. Secondly, Notch is working on several games right now which are nothing like Minecraft, and I don't think any of us are going to give a rats armpit about whether or not they take place in space.
In simple terms, Notch isn't working on a "Spacecraft" and you are all sensationalist idiots.
