Gaijin Games have unleashed the first pre-alpha footage of Runner 2 – the follow up to Bit.Trip Runner – and things are looking familiar but more 3D.
With the inclusion of the original game and a set of new mechanics that slot in naturally, Bit.Trip Rerunner is a stellar example of a remake.

I have no idea how we managed to keep it a secret until now, but Bit.Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is making its way to PS4 on February 23rd. With The Bit.Trip collection having also just been released, this means that all entries in the Bit.Trip series are finally available on PS4 and PS Vita!
gotta love Bit.trip series, some people who didn't play them just don't know what awesome thing they are missing
Also a huge fan of the Bit.Trip series myself, especially Runner. I have to say though I personally found the original's art style and 2-D/3-D hybrid graphics to be more appealing than this pre-alpha footage. As long as the controls are as precise and tuned as the first, I'll be a happy camper either way. I've beat Runner twice now and have been itching for some new levels/challenges.
