It’s not okay for developers to ‘patch’ an ending. This is true but it is also not okay to pull an ending out of your a** that has no influence on any of the choices you made from the previous games after saying how all your choices will effect the end of the game.
Movies get patched all the time. Have you never heard of a Directors cut?
95% of the hollywood movie endings are stupid. I don't see anyone lobbying them for change.
It's the ME3 story. 'The story" not your story. An ending is an ending. It is what the author intended. If you don't like it then write your own game.
