GAME's misfortunes are widely reported, but there's one person who isn't shedding a tear if the UK high street retailer closes its doors.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Hmm...is this shop terrible like gamestop?
I haven't really had many problems with them. The staff have been fine and prices aren't THAT bad.. The only problem they have are the trade in prices are CRAP and their returns policy is a joke. Don't know why people are so desperate for them to fold. If they go, alot of people will lose their jobs which isn't nice. As a gamer I would find it very disappointing as their wont be any more shops on the high street dedicated to gaming.
6,000 people out of a job is never a good thing
Great because the Employees are gamers themselves and I always like they're opinions to see what game I should choose or If i'm stuck between 4 games they can give me a rcomendation that I can trust. Also without game I would never have experienced some games I never took a chance with when they came out new for example the Uncharted series... I bought UC2 pre owned for 6.99 and fell in love with the series and then bought uc1 and uc3... I also would never have experienced games like fallout 3, oblivion, Heavenly Sword, Haze (which was alright-ish :p and many many others) Game is good for gamers even if they overprice some games... (but what's a company's goal? TO MAXIMISE PROFIT - And obviously they weren't making any and not breaking even... I don't think we should bash them in the UK because who else offer a service like GAME? And Game station...? (which are owned by the same company btw)
I also admit I hardly buy new games anymore at game... I use supermarkets for the 'big' games such as cod, battlefield and Fifa (big in popularity not quality) Only cost me 20-30 pounds instead of 30-50 pounds...
