I see your point but the point is, both consoles have their weaknesses. Just like RROD could be used in this case as a claim against being advanced (in your definition), the same can be said for Ps3.Example: You say advanced is defined as "moving forward, not backwards" and yet Sony left Rumble out of their controllers this generation when rumble was a big feature last generation.Surely thats a step backwards....

Its just annoying when ps3 fanboys act like the Ps3 has absolutely no flaws and Sony is the most perfect, loving company in the world, when infact they are just like Microsoft....The same can be said for xbots who say PSN will never be as good as Live when, in my opinion, PSN is gaining ground fast. PSN has never been down or had as many problems as Live has had in the past few days.And Zhuk, please get real....a gaming consol is most definitely not the most advanced piece of consumer technology on the planet.Any gaming PC would wipe the floor with any of the consoles...

I really don't think rumble is important at all, I won't be buying a dual shock controller when they're released in Europe that's for sure. Unless my walls are crumbling and the ground is shaking in my house, vibration on my hands is not going to simulate a world war for me.

Rumble is optional and not a necessity for modern gaming, having a system which actually works... that's a necessity. I think MS rushed the 360 out for quick sales and it looks like they've reached their peak with this one.

I agree with Dareaver...while not essential, it adds a whol lot more to gameplay, being able to feel the recoil of your gun etc.

My 12 yr.old son says that's a saying that's going around his middle school amongst his friends and other teenage gamers.
