Lots of talk keeps pouring in from GDC about Nintendo's Wii U not really being what the company needs to truly step into next-gen gaming. Does Nintendo need to ditch its current way of doing things to catch up with the rest of the crowd?

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
And since when has analyst talk been right about nintendo? EVER
oh and nobody wants elder scrolls or mass effect.................you see those meta user scores? abysmal ( a point finished later on)
And since when is fire emblem casual? is mario casual? or zelda? not really? they cater to the hardcore
internet trolling is as bad as its ever been ( point ended)...............
like I said before, the 3ds is number 1 in the world. People cant hate it that much
I will say it again. It's the gamers or customers that need to evolve.
They certainly could benefit from adobting some modern trends.
They have.
Nobody's noticed how they're getting 3rd party support back?
Heard about the Nintendo Network?
A touchscreen controller seems like an evolution to me.
Lmao. Must be another slow news day over at Zeldainformer.
We all know what it is, Troll journalism/analysis. It's not personal. It's similar to an toddler acting out for attention.
Instead of informing gamers, these analyst are encouraged/provoked to make rash and stupid comments to get a response. It's truly pathetic because the sites that post garbage like this for hits are equally guilty.
