8-Bit-Outer-Space Horror? Meet Astronaught!

Just as the title of this article suggests, Astronaught isn’t your everyday 8-bit-space-opera-horror-game. In fact, it’s not your everyday retro-styled-indie game. Right now, it’s still merely a mockup- actual gameplay needs to be programmed. Stefan Schwarzien, of Redwater Games is currently seeking funding- in exchange, you can get early access into the game, t-shirts, and quite possibly the chance to be in the game.

looks cool but it needs more action k. and please, dont sell at full retail price, just put it on 3ds virtual console. and guess what?? yep-u should make it in 3d. that would make it definetly stand out. do all that and ill pay to download.

Um... I think putting it on the 3DS VC would cost more than the developer has. If you were to help fund it, though, there's a chance of it coming to other platforms. Otherwise...

8-Bit-Space-Horror and Why the Industry Needs to Take More Risks

Bitmob: Recently, I caught wind of a what could become an indie hit: Astronaught. The game, thus far, is merely a mock-up, and only really exists in the mind of its creator, Stefan Schwarzien, and at current, needs funds in order to simply exist.
What makes this game special? Well, for starters, I doubt any big studio would be daring enough to take on a project quite like this.

Yeah I don't get the article or video. Isn't that game just like a million other indie games.

Journey is a very special game but then so are flow and flower
