the wii will not effect the ps3 and 360 as far as games go, they apply to a whole different fanbase.

i find it funny because when 360 fanboys find out there favorite console is getting outsold, they turn to the wii to bash the ps3.......lol. how sad is that.

BUT according to your logic, the 360 is getting raped worldwide by the wii even in america so STFU.

this is about the 360 vs ps3. and the ps3 is raping the 360 right now at 400 and 500 freakin dollars with "NO GAMES" so in your defense to bash on sony, you turn to the wii since you cant turn to the 360 anymore.

the 360 is getting raped in europe by more then 80,000 a week in europe. and by more then 50,000 in japan. so STFU NOW AND LEAVE.

with japan, 40,000 million ps2s wouldnt have been brought.

so they make up 1/3rd of the ps2 userbase.

so if sony is gonna get all of them back and ps3 is already more then half of the install base the 360 in europe and it came out a YEAR AND 4 MONTHS LATER.........LOL, then i have no idea how the 360 is gonna last for 3 more years. let alone 6

funny, how i see now that nobody is picking on the psp any more, i remember a lot of people saying how much the psp sucked, and how it was going to fail, just look though, it is really going off now, wonder when the ps3 is really going to go into gear??? 2008 should be a very good indication where the ps3 is heading

Hey, off topic.. but..
I just bought COD4 today and it just is terrible compared to UT3... Am I strange for thinking this? O_o(PS3 btw) I played both online and offline, online was fun for awhile, but got boring, and offline was extremely annoying.. in order for me to run into the doorways and crap i have to be right in the middle, and if im just too far to one side it wont let me through. I loved the offline mode until i started playing as marines. I guess I just prefer the more... stealthy approach. Not being anti-american as I am an american myself, but invading that TV station as a marine sucked. I wish we coulda had some SEALs or something do that...

I guess I'm also weird for preferring to be outnumbered by alot.. and would rather do that than have equal to greater numbers and charge in and just send the place to hell. Meh... I cant wait until SOCOM 4 comes out... (Not the online-only one, though I do want that)

I'm happy ps3 sales have increased but remember these are December sales.the ps2 in it's second holiday used to sell 200,000 a week. comparing that to what the ps3 is selling now....well it's disastrous.

low ps3 sales are even affecting Japanese 3rd parties as the ps family was their first source of income in japan. and as you can see most 3rd party game released on the wii have tanked in sales. most games selling on the wii are Nintendo games.

the other problem for japanies companies is that their is no alternative to the ps3. they only have the 360 and we all know how bad it's been doing in japan.

what i'm saying that low ps3 in japan are not affecting sony alone, it's affecting the whole Japanese gaming industry. so it's for the sake of the ps3 and 360 that ps3 sales got a much bigger boost than this. cause then developers will keep supporting the ps3 and hey there's no harm in releasing the same game on the Xbox cause who knows maybe the game will sell well in north America

my only fear is that after the holidays ps3 sales will go back to the 20,000 a week they once were. i don't want any major franchises to go the wii way. as for wii.... I'll just buy ninteno games just like everybody else.
