i regret not buying heavy rain, but i know id never make it to the end of the game so itd be a waste of money. I have a bad habit of nto finishing games and bein dstratcted with other games.

looking forward to seeing their latest release. I thought i remember reading that this would be a war based game.

I loved the story in Heavy Rain, and Graphics were great, but I really hope they don't use the same type of control scheme again. It was novel for a while and then it just became boring. I played through only coz the story and atmosphere of the game was just incredible, but I would really like them to implement a more traditional control scheme.

If its anything like Heavy Rain in terms of immersion, graphics and story then it'll be a day one buy from me.

I wasn't all that impressed with Heavy Rain. I didn't like the plot holes

and the fact that the killer was one of the characters you played. It seemed like a cheap trick to me. The gameplay was fun, interacting with objects and such, but I finished the game feeling underwhelmed. I should've rented the game instead of purchasing it because I never bothered to play through again.

Interesting statement from David Cage "We developed tech for future, and realized it could run on PS3. We thought we did a lot with the Heavy Rain engine, but realized that we did not do much compared to what the hardware could do. Kara demo is year old...only contains 50% of the features from new engine."

Wow...mind blown...and to think that Heavy Rain is still top 5 best looking game on consoles to this day...can't wait to see the new game running on the new engine...

Looking forward to the demo, I just hope this time around, the game requires a little more from the player, then just a series of button presses. If the rumor about the game's main character being Asian is true, then I'm expecting some martial arts action (with commands) something along the lines of Shenmue.

I originally thought the idea of an entire game being based not on play control, but QTE's, was kind of silly. I figured it was a silly novelty that wouldn't grab the hearts of hardcore gamers.

I found out, like many others, that what it actually is is incredibly fun and different. It makes the game more of an interactive movie and you cannot replace that experience. Playing through Heavy Rain for the second time with The Move was a ton of fun too.
-Hopefully this next project is along the lines of a QTE type game. They really found something unique and special with that experience. I say go it again.

SOOOO stoked! Although I feel their two most popular games, Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain had a great story up until about half way, and then it just got absurd. Would love for their next game to be more consistent throughout.
