They've got to spice it up a bit, after playing it for so long the game just becomes tiresome, in my opinion of course.

Release some maps with different weather conditions and a snow map! BC2 was more fun :(

jizzyjones5191d ago (Edited 5191d ago )

2 major updates on PS3 since release is not good enough for me, I got bored of the maps very quickly an yes Bad2 was alot more fun.

BALLARD325191d ago

Totally agree. I've kind of given up on BF3. They've made too many promises that they haven't fulfilled(i.e. battle recorder, lots of dlc/updates). At least I still have BC2 to scratch the Battlefield itch.

Kleptic5191d ago

worst support for any major multiplayer title i've come across...and i've played a lot of them over the years...

this 'spring patch' is probably not going to happen until May...at the earliest i'd say...they'll announce DLC today, and continue 'talking' about every thing coming...but it will be nearly summer by the time we get it...

which means...This will slowly be the end of BF3 for me most likely...still playing, still having some fun...but 2 updates since release, both of which did pretty much nothing...and a patch to fix a back of the box feature 3 months after release...simply isn't acceptable...

and with the mav'ers and usas users running wild until its actually nice outdoors...can't find much of a reason to keep playing...let alone buy DLC...

i'll admit, i'm still hoooked...but its like EA/DICE is actively trying to get me away from the game, and giving multiple reasons to not buy anything else they release...

Soldierone5191d ago

To be honest i take breaks just to keep it fun. However coming back to noobs with shotty's and other random noob perks annoys me.

Only reason I keep coming back is because I can't find another game to put in its place though. Lucky them I hate MW3, any other COD and I would have went back by now.

Can't lie, I play the game daily, and I've plugged in 170 hours and I'm while its finally growing tiresome, It's taken me months to get ever so slightly bored. Strike and Karkand and Gulf of Oman are multiplayer map perfection. They just don't grow old for me.

Input lag Input lag Input lag Input lag Input lag.........

brettyd5191d ago

I've been playing the PS3 version since release and the imput lag doesn't bother me at all.

mcgrottys5191d ago (Edited 5191d ago )

apparently the original six axis (non Dualshock) controllers have issues with the input lag because they use different sets of code. People with DS3's don't appear to notice it as much as the ones that don't.

ninjahunter5191d ago

If you mean the PC version, look up how to disable triple buffering in the game config, its forced on regardless of vsync and causes some severe input lag.

torchic5191d ago (Edited 5191d ago )

it has nothing to do with controllers.

I'm looking after a friend's house while he's gone on work, and he has a Sony Bravia (don't know how many inches but its a bit smaller than mine) and I have a Sony Bravia 40". I get metric tons of input lag on my TV, on his, nothing. for the first time since October I'm actually enjoying the game. it feels like that amazing game I played during the beta. but yea I get/don't get input lag from TV's from the same company (Sony). it's just so astonishing how this input lag thing works.

I realized though that by the time DICE get it fixed it would be too late.

Yeah BC2 is better imo, iv spent 100s hrs on that game and only 60hrs on BF3. I just cant be assed to play it anymore its hard to explain but BF3 is just not as good as BC2.

Battlefield 3 Cut Missions From Campaign Detailed by Former DICE Dev

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign

XiNatsuDragnel500d ago

I wish someone can get those EA game leaks to see all the cut content ngl

anast500d ago

Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

Bf4 was fun hope the new bf is just as good.

hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D

Knightofelemia1285d ago

You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.

MadLad1285d ago

We'll see what happens now that Zampella is overlooking the series.
