So, Mass Effect 3 has been in shops for mere hours now (if you live in the UK, anyway) and that’s been more than enough time for a small but very loud portion of the gaming community to launch a backlash against it – just check out the metacritic user score of (currently) 3.2. Making a stand is great when there’s something worth standing against – and the internet’s fearsomely good at letting a voice reach the masses – but the reasons behind the ME3 fan backlash shame us all. If you want games to be taken seriously and seen as mature then an equally vocal stand should be made against what’s happening with Mass Effect 3.

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.

This is just pretty much the way the internet works these days. The greatest games get mashed by the public while games nobody cares about get a free pass from the bullying. It comes to no surprise that a game of the caliber of Mass Effect 3 got this treatment.
I sadly expect many great games in the future to be treated the exact same way, just as many have before it.
Reasons like this are why people have closed online networks, and why you should never let the public be in control of anything.

These people are a bunch of idiots.
"The first domino in the line raises some valid concerns about the nature of day one DLC. The content in question, “From Ashes,” is a pack which gives you a new squad member and a new mission. Since it’s available right now, is it possible that the content was originally to be included in the game? Maybe? Should gamers be angry about it? Again, maybe."
Pretty much didn't take the article seriously after that....
There's no such thing as a legitimate review. Just sayin'.
