To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

In I remember it was the 7/10 they gave ME1 that killed the hype I had for it, but then I played it in Christmas 2007 and loved it, particularly the ending
still not AAA game gets 10/10 all round

It's a moderately well-written review, if sorely lacking in specificity. I've heard a number of worrisome things about ME3, from the endings to changes regarding the dialog system, that weren't even mentioned.
And, personally, I'm looking forward to finally fighting outside. We've had two full games of corridors filled with chest-high walls.
