Today, the Kojima Productions GDC recruitment page has been updated with a sample of the lighting the Fox Engine is able to pull off. To demonstrate, three photos of the Kojima Productions meeting room were posted, and recreated using the Fox Engine. The page challenges you to find out which one is real and which one computer graphics.

Xbox and Kojima Productions' OD will be an episodic horror anthology series, and KNOCK is the subtitle for the part directed by Hideo Kojima.
Why couldn't we have just had a straight forward Kojima horror game...like you know, a full P.T like game, Silent Hills but made into a new IP.

1st September, 2025 – KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS today announced Beyond The Strand, a celebration of 10 years of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Hosted by Hideo Kojima, the celebratory event will include special guest appearances as well as offer a glimpse into future projects. Kojima Productions confirmed that they have full ownership of the Death Stranding IP now, and they will bring the game to more platforms.
Nice I didn’t play the game but I’m happy they’ll see more money coming from this game on other platforms 👍👍
Nice!
I´m gonna buy it. Curious to see how well my Series X will handle a Guerrilla´s Decima powered game. Even more curious to see how the S is gonna handle it.
The DF review on this is gonna be interesting to say at least.
I have to admit, that I'm surprised by this, but the more people who can play, the better. Xbox gamers, give it a chance if you don't mind walking through a massive map in mostly solitude, and also keep in mind, that late into the game, it becomes an zipline simulator!
I wonder if it was in the contract or something that after so many years Kojima would get full ownership.
Good overall but I did guess correctly. Only reason was the bloom of the lighting in the second pictures though.
The images on the right but damn very impressive. Well i'd be really impressed if the game actually looks like this.
Reality still has an edge on videogames when it comes to graphics. But ten years from now, maybe we can finally make fun of real-life fanboys for their inferior anti-aliasing and light effects.
Isn't this the engine powering the supposed kojima vita game?
wow, they must be a pretty down to earth company to allow a horse in the building. pretty cool engine they got right there too.
