You know, I've never been able to get back in to Final Fantasy after my save file for FFVII somehow was wiped off my memory card. It has always seemed like such a chore to play after that terrible incident.
I must say I agree with Eddie, I would only add that whilst FF has added a huge amount to the gaming landscape and been massively influential I have always found it a little hard work, despite usually loving "squad" based strategy games I just can't get into the flow of FF anymore, having said that I do keep hoping for a return to the old days...
You're view of Final Fantasy is entirely ignorant, first of all you're clearly a casual fan that probably has never beaten one and you're possibly too dumb to notice that final fantasy's founding fathers are now with mistwalker studios making great games like lost odyssey, blue dragon and the last story.
I mean you didnt even know who amarant is and guns have been in the series for like 10+years before XIII ever arrived.
