GNT: This phrase is known throughout fast food diners across the globe. But these days in Gaming, it seems as though you have to pay more in order to cure your gaming hunger. Why is this? With the launch of Arcade, Indie and now Games on Demand, retailers are feeling the effects of the Digital Age. ‘Supersizing’, for example, from a 120GB to a 320GB PS3 will not be kind to your pocket but will certainly be kind towards Sony and the retailer themselves. Now with Trade in’s becoming more and more frustrating with the pricing, is the customer the most important source for a company or is it all about the money?

FIFA and the next-generation gaming technology studio Mythical Games today announced a collaboration to launch FIFA Rivals – a groundbreaking, officially licensed, football mobile video game.

Players are using hacks to gain an advantage in the game, such as aimbots and wall hacks. The first gives a player superhuman aiming abilities, while a wall hack lets you see through walls to gauge where other players are.
“These hacks are typically used by PC players, but those playing on PC via Xbox Game Pass are identified as Xbox players in multiplayer lobbies.”
This is pretty dumb to say the least.
Don't Gamepass online games have anti-cheat systems?
If not, that's pretty dumb. Microsoft need to fix that asap.
I mean, COD games was always filled with hackers, nothing new. I can’t blame MS on this. Activision had years to try and fix this. Might take MS some time to make some change.
What I want to know is, has profit actually increased with such things as online passes. If not, get rid of them.
I for one wont buy most games at 60 anymore and I also won't use up the online pass unless it is a must have multiplayer title. This way I can re-sell the game at higher prize. Unfortunatly I also spend less time with the game and I am less I inclined to purchase dlc. This gen I have maybe purchased dlc twice.
I've said it before but this gen has changed gaming around for me to make it less enjoyable. I'm turning toward handheld gaming now because its cheaper. I can easily afford a 60$ but that's not where my priorities lie. I hate feeling ripped off and the average game now costs 80 to get the full experience with dlc.
I can not and will not speak for other consoles, but the value of Nintendo games has remained stable through this generation. The industry has recognized Nintendo, the exclusive in house Nintendo games mainly as gems. They are still sold and bought at a premium price when brand new, even used in some occasions.
Nintendo protects major AAA releases with the official Nintendo Seal of Quality. Showing the entire world which games must be seperated from mediocre releases. Ever since we were young and fresh to the gaming business, Nintendo has always had a gameplan to protect the industry from the cheap ways and underhand tactics of cheap people and the black market of gaming (stores like gamestop).
If you go online right now to look for the great N64 games of the yester years. You will see that brand new Nintendo 64, and even some gamecube major hits are sold new for a premium price. And rightfully so. It is a very rare occasion that another company would ever be recognized for making a greater, longer lasting gaming experience then a Nintendo in house exclusive.
So if you are trying to provide yourself or your family with a real elite gaming experience that is built to stand the test of time. You can always count on the gaming company that started and innovated the world in which we play in. Nintendo. Have a good day and happy gaming.
Rated E For Everyone
I am now a pc gamer(including Onlive). I buy most of my games on sale. Today I just bought Payday the heist on amazon for $5. I still like consoles though because I can sit down and relax with a controller. Most pc games do not support gamepads.
Nowadays most games go on sale within 3 months. So I don't pay full price. I also always expect DLC.
