Want a realistic shooter for a fraction of the price? Battlefield 2 has a free reality mod that makes the game as realistic as possible. It's basically ARMA 3 but better because you can fly jets, helicopters, and drive tanks, APC's, and cars.

ARMA was never really quite ready for prime time. Maybe they'll get it right with 3.
arma is just a hardcore game not realistic i have never been to war but i doubt any game can represent such a chaotic atmosphere.
