I'm not a Hilary supporter, but if this makes you not vote for her, then you guys really need to check into America's bigger problems.

She wants to control more than sexual content on video games, she wants to control anything and everything video game related. Obama stated numerous times that he supports the video game industry GOVERNING ITSELF. That's exactly what I want to hear.

If by protecting children she means requiring all video game retailers to ID their customers for M-rated content, and enforcing that like alcohol or smoking, then fine, so be it. If she means taking M-Rated content out of games, then I will be pissed if she does so as President.

Sad how candidates are trying to use battle against vidoe games to their advantage for election.

I'm not a fan of Hillary, either, but seriously, if you have any inkling of what has gone on under the rule of Dubya in the last 7 years, you would not even think of voting for another batcrap crazy republican. Any of the wingnuts that are running on the Rep. side would be more than happy to ban all "adult oriented" video games completely. Banning things due to you not liking them? She doesn't have the power to do so. She can push for it but I don't see it as being a feasible platform initiative.

The rants on games being banned are ridicules. Our movie rating system seems to be in place and not being thought of as over indulgent. But our game rating system seems to be marred with people not being able to deal with parents reading the ratings and making the judgment themselves.

Yes the violence vs porn issue has always been befuddling but what really annoys me the most are the businesses that won't see certain rated games in their stores. Is AO the game ratings version of XXX? The age limits need to mirror that of the movie system and maybe we can see more content being labeled as Mature instead of AO? The Coffee crap was in no way XXX or AO. It was not half as bad as anything that I have seen in an R rated movie.

The biggest issue with politicians is that they see gaming as a kids world. When in reality it is now an adult world with fewer kids playing these games.

Sony America and XBox even go as far as saying they don't want Adult (XXX) games on their systems. Yet walk around Tokyo and check out all the adult oriented video games that are out for the systems. So many manga type, finding a girl and looking up her skirt games, it's crazy.

Best video game I own... Paper, Scissors, Rock for the Sega Saturn!!! Asian girls playing Strip PSR with you and all video, no animated crap. Gotta love it!!! First seen it in an arcade game on the STREET with little kids playing it. I then saw it on the Saturn system and had to buy it. It still sells used for over $50!!! Now that is a game that is high in demand!! lol

On the one hand, I really don't want to vote for Hillary, because... well, it's pretty obvious why, she's just not that good of a choice. On the other hand, Bill would be the most awesomest First Ladyman ever, and I think the entertainment value of having him back in the White House in that role would be great.

Clinton's Family Entertainment Protection Act would have made it a federal offense to sell adult-rated video games to minors.

Sure a federal offense is a bit harsh. however the bill wouldn't do anything to censor the games, just make it an offense to sell them to minors.

I am 21 years old and I have the right to see fake a$$ cartoony sex in videogames. If she knew anything she would know that GTA is rated M for 18+, in otherwords adults. These games arnt for kids, just like R rated movies. If they said there can be no tits in r rated movies thed get assassinated. I remember I tried to buy GTA 3 when I was too young and I had tyo get my mom to buy it for me. It is still way faker looking than movies and tv. The video game industry isnt just for kids anymore, the wii is, and if parents actualy did their jobs as parents we wouldnt have cun#$ like hiliary or liberman saying video games are responsible for bad parenting. I guess I now know who Im NOT gonna vote for atleast. If your a parent, concerned with what your child is playing on the console your got'em. Don't buy them the phucking game!!!! Or better yet, monitor what your child is playing or watching! People might want to look at a candidates whole picture before they vote.

I've never liked anyones censorship plans but I also will not be stupid enough to vote for someone for lying to me, or voting against someone for a platform issue that is minuscule in this current time and age of politics.

Just too much more sh@t going on in this world for me to worry about something that a president will never be able to deal with during their term. Might want to worry more about the lower levels of politics in this particular fight then worrying about the next president. He or she will not get anything pushed through on this agenda. They will be too busy dealing with our troops in the middle east and trying to get our dollar back to a strong currency in the world market, to see this as a viable fight.
