You ask in the article if it's a bad thing that few will have the same experience because of all the weapons, content, and devices that customize our time with the game, and I'd say definitely not. Sure a lot of that crap may not be great, but if it's not, just ditch that segment and go with what works. Mass Effect has always been about owning your character and making him/her unique. My Shepherd is already my own character, and my experience with her is different from whatever you've done in the first 2 games.
