If its not the washed out colours its definently the amazing traite the PS games and the PS3 games have...Foggyness...The 2 versions have different lighting methods it seems however based on the indoor bit on the video its clear the 360 version stands out to be better looking without the foggyness that plagues PS games in general.

Also I want to ask all the PS fanbabies the question:

How can PS3 games ever look better than the 360 when:

1)The 360 GPU is 1yr ahead in technology over the PS3 GPU

&

2)The 360 has 480mb of available system memory when the PS3 only has 416mb.

So the 360 has a more advanced GPU and more memory available so theoritcally the next wave of games the 360 versions will ALWAYS look better.

Its the same with the PC there is no way in hell an older graphics card and less memory = better graphics than the latest tech.

Uncharted looks the best game so far in my opinion... but has nothing to do with DMC comparisons.

It seems to look virtually the same on both consoles. I don't need DMC to look better than the XB360 version to play it and enjoy it. Neither would I cry myself to sleep if it looked slightly inferior to the XB360 version.

Bottom line is - both looks great. Hopefully the game will play great. Thanks to the devs for giving both platforms a good game. Fanboys - reviewers with money in the pocket or ulterior motives - go away.

X360 controller sucks for DMC as it sucks for all games except Racing.

The PS3 version will be washed out.

It's quite clear that the ultimate next generation console, Playstation 3's version is superior. With it's award winning, high profile Blu-ray drive and its' built in HDD as standard. Leading developement on the true next generation console to give gamers the graphics that they deserve. Developing on any other platform would result in a sub-par game with choppy framerates on Microsoft's Xbox 360 console (currently under multiple lawsuits). As a Playstation fan, I am happy that all gamers get to enjoy this game to the fullest due to it being built on the ultimately amazing Playstation 3 platform.

Sony is of course going to be a better overall experience. Devi May Cry will be the first of many experiences better done on the PS3.

I believe they will be pretty much the same...The PS3 version may run smoother because I believe its the lead platform.....

One issue comes into play...DMC4 for 360 will have achievement points....What will the PS3 have? will it have Home? Would I have to wait till fall 2008 to be part of it?...

--I may purchase the 360 DMC4 just because of the Achievement points...especially when they are pretty much the same..

--But I will have to with till it comes out an see...which one deserves my $59.99 plus tax.................

Now onto other matters, this game is supposed to look exactly the same on both systems, the same way gta will look.

A few of the cross platform games may look slightly better on one system due to af or shadows,darks and lights etc. But companys want them to look the same.

I'm gonna say one more thing.

The 360 gpu is not superior to the rsx in any shape or form, Please understand this. You cannot fit x4aa on the edram at 720p.

The gpu is decent, but the rsx provides more pixel shading power. This is even evident in cod3, and was told by the makers themselves.

The trouble with gametrailers, they did not use full rgb, which is comical at best. Go back and watch cod3 comparison and see how bright and washed out everything is. If its still there,lol.

Granted the compression on this vid is awful and is too small to make judgements.

So just enjoy the game, and what other games you have on the system you own.

360 has nothing to wory about, it has it´s own deal of great games for 2008. It is good that the PS3 gets a nice deal of them too. So pick the roaster of your liking and stop whinning about which console will offer the best games.

As for the video... either the video is missing some frames or BOTH version have a crappy framerate. As for the graphics themself, they look pretty much the same.

I do believe that its easy for a lot of people to get caught up in graphics of a game. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing a nice looking well detailed game. What should be more important however is how fun the game is. I would almost compare this to the motion picture industry. There are movies out there with amazing special effects, but they are still horrible movies. Both systems have a high potential, and both have there ups and downs. I find it incredibly difficult to say that one is "better" then another. I think while both are ultimately aimed at gamers, the ps3 seems to attract a "media-oriented" crowd. It's quite easy to set up a PS3 as an entertainment system in your living room with the blue-ray, built in wireless, blue-tooth keyboard and mouse support and some of its other media like capabilities.

The 360 doesn't have some of these media capabilities, but has an excellent online system. Granted this system costs money, but in my experience Live is superior to the PS online system... at least for the moment. The 360 seems to be a flat out "gaming system", which isn't 100 percent true, but its were it seems to shine a bit more.

It's also difficult to make the argument that the 360 has more titles. While this statement is certainly true, one has to remember that the 360 launched quite a deal earlier then the ps3. If you compare the system specs side by side, the ps3 is superior. It will certainly benchmark higher, and most games will run at higher fps.

My final point is to say that dev. teams have timelines and budgets. When you are creating a product that is cross platform this makes balancing the quality of the product and the time/budget a difficult task. While there are different strategies to taking advantage of a more powerful platform, MOST of these titles will certainly look very similar. One example of this being incorrect is when a "port" or "re-implementation" of render code is done at a different/later time for different platforms, take Gears of War or Unreal Tournament as a couple of examples.

To those that say its a waste of time to put this much energy into a comments board, I say open up your mind. Discussing these things proves you have passion for the subject. Read what others have to say and you just may learn something.

The Gametrailers version which shows a much much better clearer and larger version of video than this shows a better Xbox 360 version, seeing the ps3 with less clear version and significant jaggies through it, and then this pathetic verison which isn't good at all and shows nothing clear at all on either and they wanna say the ps3 is better? I haven't played DmC or DMC5 yet. DMC4, I don't like Nero and Dante's styles felt nerfed compared to DMC3.

The only ones I enjoyed or completed was the first game and DmC.

Y’all are too hard on 5… yea, they should’ve cut V and worked on more set pieces instead, but the combat and bosses are perfect.
