No truer words as far as this is a game this gen has been missing.

Tricky was the last one I played, because I never knew SSX was the same game back then....lol

I'll be picking this up if it's every bit as fun as tricky was. Does it still have tricky's?

Never had any doubts. Especially after I played the demo.

am i the only one thats BORED with the game so far.. and yes i have a copy in my possession. Though it could be the slow start (at least it seems slow to me) and the lack of it telling me what place i came in WORLD TOUR.. its all PASS/FAIL but from the looks of it WORLD TOUR is just a glimpse of the game, most of the meat seems online and in EXPLORE

its alright but i am not as hooked as the last SSX.. the gear thing is meh and not enjoying some of the NIGHT races. though if i had all the best gear it would be a different game probably

I was pretty hooked on the demo and still play it alot. Me and my friends are constantly trying to beat each others scores. This game seems like it will last long just off of that feature alone. If you love to beat your friends scores and times in games this game definitely seems like something you'd probably like.

Can't wait to get my runs up online :)

skate was hard/fun/challening/new/amazin g/cool need time to learn how to play it , one of the best games ever to me

SSX always been fun & addictive can't wait to play this game been playing the crap out the demo getting my skill to par my most anticipated game for me.

SSX and Twisted Metal brings pure old school awesomeness to an era full of military shooters

Glad to see SSX revitalized and not stuck in the "dead" era in the PS2 and Xbox days. Glad to see it back up, now I want Jade Empire, Phantom Dust and Advent Rising and Otogi out the "dead Era", well those Ip's probably will be stuck in limbo. Anyway, glad to see SSX back to life.

Amped 3 is my snowboarding game of choice it has the most bizzare story i have ever seen in a game its got it covered for me.

Amped was always way to serious, ssx is a over the top crazy racing/trick bag full of fun yet hardcore with it. Some of the demo times/score are mental.

I'm more interested in realistic style gameplay for these sorts of games, like Skate, rather than arcadey and way over the top. SSX is just Tony Hawk: On Ice. =P I understand that most people are interested in that style, but it's not really my type of game, though playing online could be pretty fun.

We need a snowboarding game done in the style of Skate, using some sweet analog controls.

Picking this up for sure.

Wish another Cool Boarders will come out, one that is good as part 2. I like the realistic feel of it

good review but i didnt need any convincing anyway. SSX is the sports game, hell its one of the best games available in any genre ( minus blur, that was only decent )
