NowGamer: "PS Vita is out today, so we speak to some of the major developers to gauge their thoughts on the console.
We speak to some of the PS Vita's main developers about Sony's PSP successor, their games and the future of the PS Vita. Here's what Capcom, Ubisoft and Codemasters developers have to say about the console..."

For Southeast Asia, new price changes.
Prices effective starting May 1st, 2026.
Looks like PlayStation took a hit with Marathon and is now quietly adjusting prices worldwide to recover the losses
The price increases are due to the RAM demand associated with AI and the US-Iran war. You can look to any business news website and local news to see that. Heck, even the 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo I've been eyeing has faced delays and has had a price increase of $400; that laptop has two specs. Asus is doing a staggered release with per-orders for the lower spec now and shipping in May and pre-orders for the higher spec that I'm eyeing starting in June. Basically, all computer manufactures are affected. It'll most likely start affecting smart phones too if it hasn't already. I can't remember the last time any major console maker (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, etc) increased the price of their console mid cycle outside of Microsoft just to make more profit.

All 21 Classic Games are playable for a limited time 🎮

Insider Gaming - "Ubisoft has cancelled yet another game, this time ending development on the Animal Crossing-inspired title Alterra."
I think there's a lot of excitement from developers about the potential of a console that has all the advantages of a tablet and a traditional handheld gaming console.
Think we're going to see some great games on Vita in a few years time.
Most interested to hear what the F1 guy has to say - the othr games aren't realy pushing the Vita IMHO
i think the vita will go very far it can play full fledged console ports, ios games and games special created for vita.
I'd like to see a full open world sandbox title like Just Cause 2 or GTA IV / GTA V ported over to the PS Vita.
See how it'll handle it. Yes, it's a handheld.. but don't underestimate it's power, It's an absolute beast.
