XMNR: MechWarrior Tactics was first teased last week and the full reveal arrived on Tuesday as free-to-play, turn-based multiplayer game featuring the giant mechs of the Battletech universe.

Canadian developer Blue Lizard has taken the development reigns for MechWarrior Tactics.
MechWarrior Tactics joins the list of titles under the Montreal-based casual and mmo games maker, such as Club Paradise, Nanoland, Witchcraft the Punishment, Megamind and Lost Realms.

Infinite Game Publishing has announced that the studio is extending the MechWarrior Tactics Founder’s Program, since the game is getting closer to the open beta which will launch "later this year". The "Founder's Pack" allows players to skip the line waiting to play the closed beta.

GamingShogun.com writes, "MechWarrior Tactics allows players the freedom to collect and purchase combat and cosmetic resources to outfit each ‘Mech and assemble a Lance of four ‘Mechs. Master each ‘Mech Chassis, perfect insidious tactical maneuvers and develop endless new configurations in your Mech Bay. Assemble a Lance for the ages and keep one step ahead of both your friends and enemies."
So I love the idea of this game but want to see more before I say I am all in.
This is what Front Mission should have been, provided it also had a strong single player campaign.
Should be if Square ever gets their head out of their @$$.
Actually, why do I get the feeling that the FM guys are no longer with the company?
