Coming in at essentially eight dollars ($7.99), the new pack will give you:
* A new map called "Omega Factory", and its 6 different layouts.
* A new aircraft called the KT-424 Combat Dropship.
* 5 new layouts for maps from the original game, taking advantage of the new aircraft.
Getting into a game that took advantage of this content was initially rough. It's no secret that exclusive content splinters the user base, so finding a full game with 31 others willing to shell out 8 bucks took me longer than I would have liked. Hopefully this is only a temporary problem, and with time more will pick it up, but one worth mentioning nonetheless.
If you've played Warhawk then you know it takes time to learn every nuance of a map, as they're quite large. This new Omega Factory is no different. It's a very dark (night time), industrial area, who's rocky surfaces are lined with giant pipelines. Two giant towers, only accessible by air, overlook the battlefield, giving the map a very vertical feel. I'm not going to pretend to know the map perfectly, but it seems to be equally balanced between air and ground combat zones. The new airship fits right at home here.
Earlier today, I sent to tweet Sony Santa Monica asking if they're considering a Warhawk 2. It could be that Sony Santa Monica meant to state this following phrase in a different way "We are not working on this game right now", but the "right now" part leads me to believe that they're possibly considering a Warhawk 2 sometime in the future, since they didn't say something along the lines of "We won't be making a Warhawk 2". Is there hope that a great game from the PS3 can have a sequel on the upcoming PS4 in the near future?
I really hope so,these games are some of the best multiplayer out there and have potential to become the best.It would be a shame to let them die out.

I played warhawk for years vs literally days on starhawk.
They need to go back to warhawk style.
I agree, Starhawk was a very different game, and tried a bit too hard.
I played in the beta for a bit, and liked it, but the full release got very stale quickly.
The Build and Battle system just wasn't suited for the arcadey all out war battles of Warhawk.
Hopefully.Warhawk trumped Starhawk in every aspect.Warhawk was original, unique, epic and downright addictive.
Starhawk felt like a third person COD - in space.They need to go back to basics.

Yes, i bought Starhawk but barely touched it after a week. Warhawk had me hooked for years.
Yeah, played Warhawk for hundreds of hours.
Played the Starhawk beta a bit and I just never found it fun. End result being that I didn't buy it.
And get rid of the stupid build system. It was a neat idea, but it just doesn't really work too well.

OH GOD YES! I was was just playing Warhawk the other day, and couldn't believe how well it aged and stood up against the test of time. And the 4 player split screen online vs others is/was awesome to, heck I shot down a hawk with a sniper rifle<<Epic Win

Lol..I just recently downloaded the Warhawk Demo and it lets me play on the tournament severs for free! All maps besides the DLC.

But its taking awhile to get to know the map.Knowing the map is vital on Warhawk.The dropships are cool too but I can't get people to actually load one up.If it was loaded with six people shooting swarm missiles and carrying a tank with two in it.Maybe use it to pick up a 4x4 someone then catch the flag drop the 4x4 they get in,then you pick it up and haul ass.Some real strategy could be used with the drop ship.

Look forward to it! Some of my PSN friend who have it already say it's really cool and the new ship adds a few new layers of strategy to the already excellent maps.
