Also don't you think if they were doing an enhanced version it would have been out already seeing as The Witcher 2 was out on PC! IDK anyway, as long as I'm enjoying it I could care less what anyone else is doing!

Every interview I've seen from these guys, they're always lamenting how they're not a large team to work on 3 platforms, yet don't seem to have a problem working on 2..

..don't know why they don't come out and say they have an iron clad exclusivity clause with MS, which is why 'The Witcher 2' isn't on the PS3.. I could live with that, instead of this.. we're not big enough for 3 platforms.

Still, I wish them luck - lord knows the consoles (any of them) could do with more quality RPG's

xbox is still the better platform for development. Even this late in this gen 3rd party devs are still choosing xbox over ps3 because of the better dev tools and less expensive resources.

i really dont get it what is the big deal, i played this game on the pc and is not that good like people are talking, maybe is because is from a new and small studio

i had this game since its launch on pc, but for some reason it stopped working, i reinstalled it tons of times, just stopped working and i was half way through.....pretty annoyed -_-.

It's a little disappointing that I won't get to enjoy the game on PS3, since it looked interesting, but it's good to see developers who recognize their limitations.

I think it has to do with the PlayStation version requiring extra optimization and resources to get it running. While the Xbox is much easier to develop for and requires less resources.

In all honesty I dunno where the hype over this game is, (for the console) or if there is at all, but if this game bombs then I'll have a hard time imagining a PS3 version in the future.

oh well us playstation 3 gamers will see better games then this game anyways no big deal!

They just didn't have the staff and resources to do a ps3 version. They wanted to outsource it to another developer but the results would have been ugly. The Witcher3 will make it to the 9s3.

I can't wait for this to release. I don't have the resources to upgrade to a new computer/laptop (at least not now), so this has me very excited.
Hopefully this team will be able to grow so they can have simultaneous releases for their upcoming games.

I am just glad it's coming to console finally. Played the first one and had a blast on PC. I kinda let the second slip through the cracks, it seems like something came out right about that time that drew my attention away.

That's understandable. Small companies should focus on what they're able too do. I bet when they get the PC and 360 out of the way, they'll be able to work on a PS3 port.

Luckily, they don't seem like the type of devs that would do a rush job and make a poor PS3 port for a cash grab.

CD Projekt comes from a PC background, they don't have unlimited ressources, so it makes sense that they opted for the 360 since it's the closest console to a PC from a technical standpoint. It's easier to port from PC to 360.
PS3 titles work better when they are the lead.
They are not the only Euro RPG company with a PC background to do the same and go 360 first (Gothic, Venetica) or 360 only (Risen 1, Divinity II).
