
With 3 weeks to go, Origin is offering Battlefield 3 as a free pre-order bonus for purchasing Mass Effect 3 on Origin. But what is the rationale behind this? WHy the sudden change of heart by EA and is it really the gamble and gift of good will we think it is?

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

They did a similar thing with BF3 pre-orders for a limited time.
You could pick either DeadSpace2, MassEffect2 or MoH when you pre-ordered BF3.
I managed to use a 25% off coupon, so I ended up getting BF3, B2K expansion and DeadSpace2 all for $45 (already had the other games)
Problem is that Battlefield 3 wont unlock 'till after ME3 releases ... deal breaker. Almost had me there EA!
