Please don't make it all about sex appeal... -_- I heard that's how the first game was, so I stayed away from it. Why is it that anime-style things always get bogged down with unnecessary sexual innuendo and outfits?

Because of sexually frustrated Japanese men craving fan service, that's why. Assuming that the fan service isn't too bad an something has a good story then it can be ignored pretty easily.

I got the first one on release, and hated it...
Seemed like it'd be hilarious, poking fun at, and parodying, the game industry.
The gameplay was waay too boring for me, though.
Willing to give this one another shot, but only after I read a bunch of reviews.
